Program Description:

SIUE Business Exchange Program at the Hochschule HannoverFachhochschule Hannover

With more than 7.000 students and about 700 staff members, the FHH ranks the second largest university in the capital of the federal state of Lower Saxony. Founded in 1971 after the merging of several educational institutions, the FHH covers an extraordinary range of disciplines in the five faculties at several locations in Hannover.  In the Faculty of Business and Computer Sciences, about 54 professors and numerous part-time instructors provide a high-quality and application-oriented education. The Hochschule Hannover has been ranked one of the top business and CMIS programs in Germany.

Hannover lies on the border between the middle German mountains and hills and the northern German flatland. The city is more than 750 years old. It was designated in 1946 as the capital of Lower Saxony and has become the political, economic, and cultural center of the state.

In contrast to many other cities, the capital offers many parks, landscaped gardens, and recreational open spaces where one feels close to nature. The city's reputation as a center of culture and entertainment is fully justified. Hannover offers music, theater, museums, and art galleries and a wide range of cultural events to suit every taste. Whatever time of year one decides to visit, there is always something taking place to stimulate the imagination.
