ESSCA Paris Seine
Business Exchange Program at École de Management in Paris, FranceESSCA Logo

Through SIUE's longstanding relationship with ESSCA, selected business majors and minors may participate in an exchange semester in Paris, France. A variety of core Business courses and electives are offered in English. There is no French language requirement for participation in this program.  Beginning and intermediate level French language and cultural classes are also offered.

Location

Opened in 1993, ESSCA’s Paris location has welcomed students in several programs in exactly the same conditions and often with the very same professors as the main campus in Angers. Today, a full contingent of undergraduate students has been joined by graduate students in master’s, specialized master’s and executive programs — many in English — on a modern, self-contained campus in ESSCA ParisBoulogne-Billancourt, just outside the capital and with quick, easy access to the center of Paris. As for Paris, the city of lights needs no introductions and as one of the world’s foremost capital cities with world-famous monuments will provide exchange students with an unparalleled cultural experience.  Whether you are seeking general business knowledge, or specialized master’s classes given by research professors and experienced executives, ESSCA Paris can offer you a wide variety of study and specialization offers.

See the ESSCA Paris Practical Guide for more information on Paris, ESSCA, and accomodations.

Costs

  • Tuition: Students approved by SIUE's School of Business and ESSCA to participate in this exchange program will be charged SIUE tuition for the anticipated SIUE equivalent courses and credit hours. In addition to the SIUE tuition, students will be billed for the information technology fee. All other SIUE student fees are waived. Students will receive a tuition waiver at ESSCA and pay only administrative fees and housing costs at ESSCA.

  • Housing: Students will locate their own housing in Paris with the assistance of ESSCA.  Most exchange students who have attended ESSCA Paris have found it convenient to seek and locate their own accommodations before arriving in the city.  Rent is expensive and can range from $600 - $1,200 per month (based on exchange rate of 1 Euro = 1.35 USD)

  • Additional Costs: Airline ticket to Paris, passport and student visa fees, meals, and incidental expenses including ground transportation.

Student Visa

A Student Visa is required for semester long study in France. See the Campus France Applying for a Student Visa for an overview of this process and requirements.
