Over the past 44 years Santa Reparata International School of Art (SRISA) has become one of the top art and design schools in Italy. SRISA’s highly personalized instruction and experiential learning conforms to the expectations and requirements of an American university curriculum.
SRISA offers accredited programs of study including: academic year, semester, and summer study abroad; Post-Baccalaureate Certificates; short-term courses; and an internship program. Courses are taught in the English language.
The main campus houses the SRISA Gallery of Contemporary Art and extensive studio facilities for painting, drawing and printmaking; photography labs and darkroom; and large lecture rooms. Adjacent campus buildings include the Fashion Design and Interior Design Studio; and Project Space for emerging artists and Post-Baccalaureate candidates.
The SRISA academic program is enhanced with extra-curricular activities, art exhibits, field trips, cultural seminars, beyond-the-classroom learning, guest lecturers, museum visits, student art shows, and fashion shows.
SRISA arranges housing upon request for students enrolled at the school. It is a great opportunity for students to get to know one another while being immersed in the daily Italian life that greatly enriches their study abroad experience.
